Reindeer 🎄

 

We had to create an elf or a reindeer, i chose a reindeer cause its easier to trace/draw, i traced this drawing cause i found it hard to make my own. What would you chose to do elf or reindeer ?

International night

Last night we had international evening. Every class each had a culture to choose from and did a dance/songs. I did five dances/songs which were... Samoan actions, two korean dances, italian dance and a south african song.  There was lots of different kinds of foods there from different countries that we got to try.  The fun part of the night was seeing all the different foods.

First Aide

 Today we had Paula from St John teach us about D R S A B C D.

Danger-Check if there is anything that can get you in danger- 5 sec. 

Response-with the back of your hand hit there collar bone.

Send for help-call 111.

Airway-Turn them over so if they vomit it wont block there airway.

Breathing-put your ear near there mouth and your hand of there stomach to see if they are breathing.

C.P.R-inlock your fingers with your hand and press down in the middle of there chest and don't stop.

Defib (AED)-if someone stops breathing you peel the thingy of the pad and listen to the instructions. 

She taught us how to check if someones breathing, how to do C.P.R and other stuff.

Writing

 

   Today in room 1 we had to do a puzzle and write the meaning of the word at the top and do two examples.

Today for Cybersmart we got into buddies and done highlighted the really really important things, the very important things, and the important things. 

We made a DLO about the Really really important things.

Volcanos

 For the past two weeks, we have been making our own volcano's.

We used glue to stick the news paper to the bottle to form a volcano shape, we also stuck white paper on top. After we did that we started to paint to make it look more like a volcano.

We used vinegar, baking soda, water and red food die if we wanted.

When we added our vinegar it started to erupt, but it didnt work that well, mine exploded a little bit but not as much as i thought it would, but thats okay because it was lots of fun to make.

Next time maybe we should add more baking soda, so it will be more bigger of an explosion.

The Floating Store

There was a girl named Heather, She has long wavy brownish blond hair, she had green eyes with a tint of blue, she's 15 and very kind,  her best friends are Ellie, Karla and Millie and she is the main character. Ellie has blond hair with blue eyes, and she is also very kind and is 16. Karla has black hair and brown eyes, she loves science and she's 15. Millie has brownish with a little bit of blond, she has brown eyes, she's very kind and she loves singing and is 16. 

One day Heather and her friends went shopping in the busy city. While they were shopping for clothes in H&M they heard people screaming they went to check what was happening.  They turned the corner and saw the soap floating, all of the sodden the soap started to fly around the store. All of the girls went to go by the door to go out of the store but they looked outside and realised the store was floating

    We had to make instructions on how to make cereal so i made a google drawing and wrote the steps and did drawings of what you need to do to make it more easy.

We had to make a poster about dolphins. First we had to research facts about them and watch some videos to get the information and i found some cool facts.  

Snow Statue

Today i woke up and it was snowing outside!. I went to get changed into warm clothes and had breakfast and then I went to go play at my front yard. I built a snowman, an Igloo and I had a stash of snowballs in the igloo incase i had intruders coming to break my igloo. I decided to call the igloo snow hangout. As soon as I started to build another snowman my mum yelled out to me. I started to run back to see what she wanted. She said “There is a snow building competition. Would you like to sign up to do it?” “DUHHH OF COURSE!” I shouted with joy. We started to drive to where the competition was. It was in a huge domain with the perfect amount of snow I signed up for and then we started to build our snow building. I was making a star wars statue but i had to search up some things on my mum's phone first for the details they said it was fine to do that. After i was done i waited for a bit till everyone was done, soon as everyone was finished we started to go around and look at everyones creations, there was this really cool one it was a big igloo with cool designs on the snow bricks and in the inside it had snow furniture, and this other cool creation someone made was a statue with a girl about to throw a snowball. Now the judges started to judge 3 place was the igloo with the cool designs, 2 place was the statue about to throw a snowball, and 1 place was…….MEEE THE STAR WARS STATUE! I was so happy I was jumping with joy and i one a trophy (not snow) and the trophy was shaped like a snowball. I couldn't believe that i won but i wasn't going to be a soure winner and i wasn't going to say “HAHA I WIN AND YOU LOSS!” instead i said gg (good game) and shaked there hand and said “don't worry i wish you luck for next time!”. Never be mean and be a soure winner or loser.
